About The Course:

This 201-level course is intended to serve as a toolkit for practicing herbalists to expand their background knowledge and practice skills around neurological issues. We'll cover:

In my practice, I strongly value self-managed care and aim to create resources that are intended for individuals working alone as well as practicing herbalists. However, personal experience has led me to the position that neurological care is most effective with outside support. In this course, I am striving to maintain a critical approach to “clinical” practices and provide tools that are intended for collaborative, horizontal health work, while recognizing that this topic can benefit from a more systematic approach to assessment than is often present in community and informal mutual aid herbalism.

Prerequisites:

Open to all; however, it is assumed that students have a basic understanding of herbal medicine making and herbalism as it applies to the nervous system. Nicole Rose's Herbalism, PTSD & Traumatic Stress Course is a fabulous values-aligned introduction to these topics for total beginners, you can join her waitlist here.
